The sturdy, generous 2008 vintage was hand-picked and matured for 16 months in French and American oak casks. Deeply coloured, it has fresh, brambly, plummy flavours, showing excellent concentration, hints of coffee and sweet oak, good complexity, and the power to age. Score - 4 1/2 Stars (out of 5).
