Tasting Notes
Another superb effort is the 2006 Cabernet Franc, a blend of 65% Sonoma fruit and the rest from Napa. Its dark plum/ruby color is followed by a knock-out nose of smoke, underbrush, black cherries, macerated raspberries, and blackberries. Sweet and expansive with a velvety texture as well as opulence, complexity, and length, this fabulous Cabernet Franc can be drunk over the next 8-10 years. Score - 93.
