TASTING NOTE: An inviting nose of fresh strawberry and cherry notes with touches of violets, nutmeg and pepper. The palate is dry and offers a very good developing complexity. More violets and spice notes are beautifully integrated with the fruit. Very well structured with good balance of fruit, tannin and acidity, and closing with a very pleasant, medium-long finish. Enjoy this with roasted spicy salmon steaks, or a roasted herb-encrusted chicken with a cranberry sauce. (Vintages panel, March 2011)
