Tasting Notes
From Cabernet Sauvignon specialist GreenLane Estate comes this blend of Cab and Merlot from Ontario's superlative 2007 vintage. Medium ruby in the glass, it shows attractive cassis, plum, menthol and spice cupboard. Dry, medium bodied, fresh and balanced with bright acidity, and ripe tannins still showing ample grip. This wine will be outstanding with food. Try it with braised beef or lasagna. (VINTAGES panel, June 2011)
