Tasting Notes
This little wonder from Oregon strikes an interesting stylistic balance between Italian Pinot Grigio and Alsatian Pinot Gris. Opens with aromas of yellow plum, melon and herbs. Dry and sleek on the palate, with a round mouthfeel yet also an impression of lithe elegance. Nice balance of fruit and refreshing acidity. This will make a great sipper, and be quite versatile with foods too. Try it with grilled freshwater fish, roast chicken, or a mildly spiced jambalaya. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2011)
