Tasting Notes
(Translated from the French) Two months after acquiring Montrose, the Bouygues brothers purchased this estate in July 2006 from Mme. Castéja who acquired it in 1969. This château is amongst the most charming in the Médoc. The 2005 vintage from this property is not lacking for elegance, with its dark crimson colour and intense cherry aromas coated with toasted oak. The broad and supple palate is intense and well integrated, revealing fantastic composition. Even though it is already enjoyable now, this wine deserves a few more years in the cellar. Coup de Coeur (Jury Favourite). Score - 2 Stars (out of 3). (Guide Hachette, 2009)
