Tasting Notes
Despite being just 'next door' to Taillepieds, here the nose is notably more deeply pitched with a complex, restrained and ripe red berry fruit and floral aromas that are followed by rich and relatively powerful flavors that display just a touch of rusticity to the supporting tannins. While this doesn't have the finesse of its neighbor, it is even longer. A choice. Drink [from] 2014+. Score - 90. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, April 2009)
