Tasting Notes
Bodega Norton can trace its roots in Mendoza to 1895, when engineer Edmund James Palmer Norton became enamoured of the land during the construction of the rail link between Mendoza, Argentina and Chile. The 2009 Reserve Chardonnay has an intense nose with melon, ripe apple, citrus, butter and toasty oak all expressed. The palate is dry and full bodied with flavours of apple, peach, pineapple, spice and toasty vanilla. Enjoy with baked chicken in a lemon cream sauce. (VINTAGES panel, May 2011)
