Tasting Notes
This Gold Medal winner at the 2010 Concours Agricole de Paris offers up suggestions of licorice, plum, cherry, cedar and earth with a touch of smoke. The palate is dry and quite pretty, displaying fine elegance. More cherry, cedar, earth and smoke in the mouth supported by a very good acidity and fine tannins. Very tasty. Enjoy with a slow-cooked beef stew with potatoes, carrots, celery and a splash of Worcestershire sauce. (VINTAGES panel, June 2011)
