Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass and offering up mouthwatering aromas of red fruit, red berries, cocoa, and pepper spice. This is a serious wine, and extremely well constructed. Great balance throughout, and quite mouthfilling. Lots of fruit on the palate, which is round and crisp. More pepper and spice and a tangy cherry essence to the lengthy finish. An impressive wine, by any standards. Enjoy it with rich beef stews or roasts. (VINTAGES panel, April 2011)
