Tasting Notes
One of Ontario's winningest wines in the 2013 awards season - including top white of the Ontario Wine Awards - has also racked up an Ontario Lt Governor's Award, being one of 12 selected out of a field of 225 wines. This pours with deep colour and a billowing, rich smoky, toasty nose that also has considerable fruit and honeyed character. It's very smooth, quite powerful and backed by grippy acidity and minerality. The length is excellent to outstanding. I would drink this over the next three years.
