Tasting Notes
In our opinion Viognier still has a good way to go before it gets established in New Zealand. The vast majority of the vines are still very young and thus the resulting wine tends to be hard and phenolic with raised alcohol. HOWEVER, this wine is an exception. It has a rounded fruity nose and ripe and juicy apricot fruit in the palate. Big and powerful with great length and an ability to age. Score - 4 Stars (out of 5). (tizwine.com, Undated)
