This wine won a Silver Medal at the Wine Access 2011 Canadian Wine Awards. Shiraz has found a fine home in BC's Okanagan Valley, and this one bears witness to that. Made in a more Syrah than Shiraz style, it features aromas of blackberry, tobacco, pepper plus a pleasant earthiness. This will reward 2-4 years in a cellar, or enjoy it, decanted, tonight with grilled lamb chops and wild mushroom risotto.
