Tasting Notes
Urraca's 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon spent 12 months in new French and American oak. It is purple-colored with a nose of spice box, toasty oak, pencil lead, and black currant. Full-bodied, rich, and incipiently complex, this sweetly-fruited, layered Cabernet is well-balanced and lengthy. It will improve for another 2-3 years and offer prime drinking from 2011 to 2020.
