Tasting Notes
... this new fella is a lovely medium amber when poured and sports an aroma that almost rockets from the glass, a plume of vanilla, dried fruit, burnt sugar, and citrus scents. I'm really not trying to be poetic, here, but there is something a little majestic about this stuff when poured into the glass. It has that feeling of heft, tradition, care in the making of it ... This rum is a banquet for your senses ... [There's a] full-throttle body and punch that lifts this Black straight out of the Rum Pack and into the realm of Something Else.
