Tasting Notes
Orange liqueur, vanilla, nutmeg, white raisin, musk, and smoky black tea on the nose of Zind-Humbrecht's 2008 Pinot Gris Rotenberg Selection de Grains Nobles reprise multifacetedly on a palate that exhibits an uncanny alliance of creaminess with riveting refreshment, and on which nearly 200 grams of residual sugar comes off as in no way overly sweet. This blazes a quickening path across the palate whose tracks are well-nigh indelible. I envision at least 30 years of excitement in store for those who have the requisite time at their disposal.
