Tasting Notes
From schistous soils. This has a delightfully salty-mineral quality to the nose. Behind that, as it opens up, there is some lemon and thyme. A fresh and full style on the palate, bright acidity but very well balanced and supple, showing a firmer quality to it in the finish. Classy, gently fleshy, very accessible but with classic appellation quality. Rich in stony substance rather than fruit. Score - 15.5 (out of 20). (Chris Kissack, thewinedoctor.com, Feb. 2012)
