Tasting Notes
This might be the perfect brunch beverage. Strawberries and raspberries are macerated with the apple cider to create this 'rosé' fizzy cider. Aromas suggest apple custard, apricot jam, strawberry and honeysuckle. Medium dry, fresh and flavourful with lively bubbles. Soft and easy drinking, though it has also got some crisp, zippy acidity. Juicy apple tones sing on the mid-palate and finish. Enjoy with brie-filled crepes, a fresh fruit cocktail or even roast turkey. (VINTAGES panel, March 2012)
