Description
This property was home to a monastery from the 18th century until the family of the current owner (the regal Baronne de Montremy) acquired it in 1942. This wine's name, Ermite du Maunier, is a tribute to it's former life as a monastery (Maunier is a contraction of the latin Monasterium). This Syrah/Grenach blend is filled with blackberry, underbrush and pepper aromas and flavours. Match it to lamb sausages provençal-style, with fennel, onion and tomato sauce.
