Need a little help with the label? Naturé is the ancient name for the Savagnin grape, and Arbois is the most important region of the Jura in terms of production.
Tasting Notes
This Savagnin is modern in style but unique nonetheless with lifted aromas of citrus fruit, roasted spices and oak. It's dry, medium bodied with a savoury flavour profile of dried herbs and lemony fruit flavours, as well as touches of minerality balanced by crisp acidity and leading to a long, spicy finish. Pair it with Comté, the cheese of Jura, for an authentic match, or try it with grilled herb-encrusted whitefish, or other freshwater fish. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2011)
