Tasting Notes
This Awatere Valley Savvy features aromas of gooseberry, rosemary, green plum and lemon. There's also an intriguing chalkiness here too. Dry, quite ripe with racy acidity bringing structure. There's a very nice intensity on the finish. Try with pan-fried freshwater fish. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2011)
