Tasting Notes
Bright crimson. Smells of fresh modern cool fermentation of healthy fruit - rather mainstream in fact! Well mannered, slightly tame, lively, very fresh red wine with just a bit of lightly tamed tannin at the end to betray its origins. Saperavi Lite? Certainly not difficult to like, if you like life and a little bit of sour plum character, though probably not one of the longest-living Saperavis. Drink 2011-2014. Score - 16.
