Tasting Notes
Appetite-whetting aromas of ripe plum, milk chocolate and coffee. Full bodied and round with bracing acidity, fine tannins and a lingering, flavourful finish. This will evolve nicely with 2-3 years in the cellar, but is perfectly pleasurable now. Match it with oven-baked pasta, or some Stelvio cheese and prosciutto. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2011)
