Chateau Tanunda was declared Australian Producer of the Year at the 2010 International Wine & Spirit Competition in London.
Tasting Notes
Deep dark purple red, viscous and clingy in the glass. Confiture of red fruits, strawberry jam, spiced coffee, broken stone and sandalwood aromas. Hugely concentrated fruits, black and red, spicy and jammy, cedary wood, olives and sweet prunes. This wine isn't brash, but it is big, bold and very effective indeed. Score - Silver Medal (Best in Class). (International Wine & Spirit Competition, 2011)
