Tasting Notes
All the wines presented were outstanding and the Brunello Riserva '04 is a real show-stopper which will go down in history. A bright, moderately dense ruby red shimmers as it introduces classic aromas of ripe cherries with more mature sensations of tobacco and hints of leather and medicinal herbs. Plenty of acidity, supported by soft, mouthfilling tannin and a well-rounded, unforgettable finish in fact earned the wine our vote as Red of the Year. Score - 3+ Glasses (out of 3).
