Tasting Notes
The 2010 Reserva 'Olho De Mocho' Branco is [made with the white grape growing in popularity in Alentejo,] Antao Vaz. As much as I liked the somewhat elegant but persistent, regular Branco reviewed this issue - this is better, deeper and with a better finish and intensity on the finish. This lingered nicely, showing persistence and controlled flavor, a little power and elegance at the same time. It gripped the palate beautifully. Remarkably clean and fresh for its style, it is very nice. It will be early maturing, however long it theoretically holds, and it is drinking well now. Drink now-2014. Score - 90.
