'Fattoria Le Fonti has been owned by the Schmitt-Vitali family since 1994 and is situated in the Panzano subzone. Its relatively small size means that particularly meticulous care can be lavished on the vineyards and cellar. It has also enabled its wines to make a name for themselves, particularly in recent years. Although they are aged mainly in small casks, the oak is very shrewdly callibrated and the wines have a nicely profiled style with plenty of stimulating freshness and very likeable personalities.'
