Tasting Notes
This has a classic, rich Meursault nose loaded with almost perfumed honey nougat, peach, wood smoke, mineral and vanilla. It's full bodied, powerful yet at the same quite compact and elegant. Great acidity and minerality of the 2010 vintage cleaves the palate, and stretches the wine to outstanding length. There is considerable new oak spice on the finish so I would age it a year or two, but this is very impressive. Score - 89. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, June 2012)
