Tasting Notes
Deeply delicious stuff from its pretty medium-deep taffy brown colour right through to the fabulous aroma profile which includes burnt sugar, dried fruits, smoky maraschino cherry and lots of vanilla. Dry, with complex flavours playing across the palate. There's a smoky centre with, to wax poetic for a moment, a roundy and smooth vanilla bean finish. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2012)
