TASTING NOTE: Medium gold in colour, this Premier Cru Chablis offers an amazing taste experience on its 10th birthday. Developing beautifully, it shows complex aromas of marmalade, apple custard, ripe pear, marzipan, roasted almonds and wet stones. Dry, rich and developed with more toasty almond flavours, mature fruit and endless minerality, it's quite flavourful and still backed by a fresh seam of acidity. Tasting Notes
The 2006 Chablis 1er Cru Les Lys is showing beautifully, offering up inviting aromas of pear, honeycomb, mandarin oil, warm bread and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with an enveloping core of fruit, racy acids and a long, saline finish, it's fleshy but controlled, with more texture than the C�te de L�chet and more structure than the Vaillons.
