Tasting Notes
Candy apple red/orange colour leads to an intriguing nose of orange peel, mulling spice (especially clove and cinnamon), cardamom pod, hickory smoke, potpourri and maraschino cherry. Simultaneously sweetly bitter and bitterly sweet with terrific spice and citrus rind replays. Give this a slight chill and it will both work as a terrific palate refresher at the start of a meal or a digestif at the end. (VINTAGES panel, July 2012)
