Tasting Notes
Due to be bottled sometime before the 2011 harvest, from tank Tour Vieille's Grenache-Carignan blend 2009 Collioure La Pinede displays a flatteringly caressing texture and seamless ripeness of strawberry and black raspberry allied to hints of inner-mouth florality and a finishing touch of bitter herbs. While not terribly complex, it is exceptionally polished, buoyant, and brimming with primary juiciness for its vintage. I expect it will perform well from bottle for at least 3-4 years.
