TASTING NOTE: The 2006 Samsara Syrah is a little 'funky' at first, but calms down with aeration to reveal a mellow, blackberry and cassis-scented bouquet that is just a little warm and alcoholic. The palate is full-bodied and luscious, with succulent dark berries, cherry liqueur and a touch of Provencal herbs. The finish is rounded and seductive. Drink: 2011-2017.
