Tasting Notes
Honeydew, watermelon, cherry and fresh lime are juicy key notes in the Thanisch 2010 Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spatlese, which conveys the best sort of vintage-typical energy and sheer refreshment and whose high residual sugar backs up its sense of lushness without engendering one of bifurcation. A tingling of fresh ginger and lime zest along with Mosel-typical stony undertones add invigoration and interest to this concentrated Spatlese's satisfyingly sappy and persistent finish.
