Description
This wine's name sounds a bit like a posh European starlet, and in a way that's true. This dark beauty blends the classic red grape of northern Greece, Xinomavro, with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and took home a Gold Medal at the 2011 International Wine Competition of Thessaloniki.
Tasting Notes
Enticing aromas of plum and dark berry fruit carry through nicely on the palate. Dry, with a firm frame and a lovely lingering essence. A fine partner for beef souvlaki, or herbed roast beef and potatoes. (VINTAGES panel, April 2012)
