Tasting Notes
An elegant Cabernet featuring red berry fruit, plum, light cassis aromas as well as notes of leather and earth. It's dry, full bodied with balanced acidity and light tannins providing structure on the rich, velvety palate. Very appealing, with the ripe fruit flavours layered with notes of smoke and mint for added interest. Spicy beef fajitas or a pepper steak would make a fine match. (VINTAGES panel, Jan. 2012)
