This wine gets its name from the Prosecco Tondo grape clone from which it is fashioned; the grape is prized for its small berries, which lend more concentrated flavour.
Tasting Notes
Appealing aromas of white flowers, pear, green apple and melon. Medium bodied, dry and crisp with good balance between fruit and fresh acidity. Good, lively mousse and a clean finish. Sip and enjoy, or pair with tempura appetizers or crab cakes. (VINTAGES panel, April 2012)
