Tasting Notes

Outstanding Pinot Noir from the fine 2009 vintage. Aromas suggest sour cherry, plum, underbrush and cedar. Dry with plentiful fruit carrying forward onto the palate which is well supported by almost velvety tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is clean and generous. This fine-value Premier Cru Burgundy is a good choice for filet mignon or grilled lamb. It will also last 2-4+ years in a cellar, but there's no real need to wait. (VINTAGES panel, May 2012)
