Tasting Notes
La Sala uses only Sangiovese for this wine. Aromas suggest black cherry, plum, dried fruit, black licorice and cedar. Dry with abundant tannins around the fresh fruit flavours. There is also some good development showing here, suggesting it is best to enjoy it now until about 2016. Grilled steaks or game meats would work beautifully. (VINTAGES panel, May 2012)
