Tasting Notes
The great white wine grape of Piedmont, Cortese, achieves its finest expression in the Gavi region. This one shows why. Aromas on display include spring flowers, apricot, candied lemon rind and pear. Dry and very fresh, there's also an abundance of fruit on the palate too. The finish is lively and enlivening. A great palate refresher, or pair with seafood pasta in a light sauce of herbs and olive oil. (VINTAGES panel, May 2012)
