Tasting Notes
Again, the lone 2012 Ares Crianza, is Tempranillo from Laguardia with a flowery and showy nose, spicy tones and notes of ripe cherries mingling with an earthy undertone. The palate is seamless, juicy and has fine tannins and good grip. It is very balanced. The technical sheet talked about January 2015 bottling, I wonder how many lots they did before and if they were homogeneous. Even though the oak seems to grow in the glass this is very good.
