Situated northeast of Rioja and just south of the city of Pamplona, Navarra is a hot inland region moderated by the Ebro River.
Tasting Notes
Blends 60% Tempranillo with 20% apiece of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Deep ruby in the glass with juicy cherry, boysenberry, roasted tomato and spice notes. Nice lift on the palate, with strawberry-rhubarb coming into play. Balanced, spice-kissed finish. Enjoy with lamb burgers or dry-roasted ribs. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2012)
