Tasting Notes |
---|
This great value is proof that it's smart to buy 'little' wines in 'big' vintages like 2005. This is evolving nicely with bright garnet-brick colour. It shows appealing, complex raspberry jam, leather, smoke, herbs and peppery aromas. It's mid-weight and settling into a smooth delivery, with some creaminess, warmth and sandy tannin, with tobacco and pepper on the dusty finish. Very good length. Quite seductive. Best now to 2015. Tasted October 2012. Score - 89. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Oct. 24, 2012)
