The Collio sub-region of Friuli produces some of the best Pinot Grigios in Italy, often showing the aromatic, flavourful side of PG. Look for yellow plum, apple, spring flowers and sea salt in this wine. It'll make a terrific sipper, or try with roast whole herbed chicken or pasta in a light pesto sauce.
Tasting Notes
Delicate aromas of pine nut, citrus, and yellow plum. It's bright, clean, and crisp on the tongue with a nutty character on the finish. Enjoy with pasta in a light pesto sauce. (VINTAGES panel, Aug. 2014)
