Cantina Sardus Pater makes this Carignano (Carignan) from vines aged 80+ years near the southern tip of the island of Sardinia. It's a massive, robust expression of the variety showing intense dark fruit, leather and spice notions. Drinking very well now, it should continue to do so for 5+ years.
