Tasting Notes
An intense, developing nose brimming with rich berry fruit, plum, cured meats and a touch of pipe smoke. The palate is similarly complex, very well structured and balanced with a generous, long and flavourful finish. Just starting to show signs of maturity, this wine has thrown its drinking window open invitingly. It will pair very well with rabbit, charcuterie or aged cheeses. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2012)
