TASTING NOTE: A classic Chassagne rouge nose with notes of pepper, pungent iron-infused earth, plum and red berries. There is good richness with fine power and plenty of mid-palate concentration that evidences mild rusticity on the long, balanced and mouth coating finish. There is mild austerity and excellent character and while this isn't especially refined, it's textbook Morgeot in a built to age package. Outstanding. Top Value. Drink: 2018+.
