This wine was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2012 Concours des Féminalises in Beaune.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass with touches of garnet. The nose suggests copious notes of mincemeat, plum, dark cherry, currant and vanilla. The palate is ripe with supple tannins offering a framework for the great wealth of dark fruit. The tannins will soften further still with another 1-2 years in the cellar, but this will be delicious tonight with braised meats or a bolognese pasta. (VINTAGES panel, May 2013)
