Tasting Notes
Presents an expressive nose of red cherry, wild raspberry, woodsmoke and earth. Dry and medium bodied with pure spicy fruit, and an intriguing forest floor quality on the mid-palate. Bright balancing acidity works beautifully with the fine tannins to keep everything balanced just so. Fruit-driven and elegant, with a medium-long fruity, spice-enhanced finish. This will drink well now till 2013. Try with mildly spiced Creole chicken. (VINTAGES panel, June 2011)
