Tasting Notes
Aromas of wild blueberry, black plum, tilled earth, cloves and a hint of vanilla. Fleshy, mouth-coating tannins support a hefty load of earthy dark fruit. Nice balance throughout, and a gently spiced finish. This will easily cellar for a further 4-5 years, but can be enjoyed tonight with rare herbed steaks or game. (VINTAGES panel, April 2013)
